Class 4 have weekly a ukulele lessons with a music teacher. They are currently working hard to learn the cords and use them to play some songs. They sound fantastic.
A group of Year 5 and 6 had the exciting opportunity to take part in a vocal workshop lead by an experienced and brilliant conductor. The group spent the day learning six new songs which they then performed alongside several other schools to create a choir. The experience was amazing for everyone involved and the singing was fantastic.

The Year 6 children spent a fantastic day at Shrewsbury Abbey Open Door. They participated in different practical activities and spoke to a monk about his life experiences.

We had a fantastic hands on experience with an Anglo Saxon Workshop. We handled real artefacts, dressed as Saxons, played Saxon games and learnt about crafts.
