Oak Class's Wildlife Photos

Oak Class have been taking part in a wildlife photography competition, and their entries have been stunning. You can see them on the Class page here. The winner of the competition is this stunning portrait of a mallard's head, where every detail is crisp and the colours bright. The overall composition of the picture is excellent.

So many of the pictures were wonderful, and I thought this image of newly-hatched spiderlings was a worthy runner-up. I loved the way the photographer had contrasted nature with a man-made object, showing how we interact with the world around us.

If you enjoyed these pictures, why not have a go at taking your own?
