The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum is set out in the Early Years Framework and this is elaborated further in the document Development Matters. Both of these documents and an overview can be viewed by clicking on the links below. The curriculum is delivered through a balance of adult led focus groups, adult directed and child initiated play. The learning environment is designed to enable learning and meet the needs and interests of the children. Hopefully your child will think they are ‘playing’ but they will in fact be accessing activities and using resources which have been designed to promote learning matched to their needs and interests. We have a wonderful EYFS Unit with a lively inspiring classroom, a well-equipped outside area and our own on site Forest School which all provide an inspirational environment to learn.
