KS2 Design & Technology in Action!

 

Our incredible KS2 pupils have been busy getting hands-on with their learning this week, creating their very own cam mechanisms! 

 

Using their knowledge of movement and simple machines, the children designed and built working models that turn rotary motion into different types of movement. It was fantastic to see their creativity shine as they explored how cams can create rising, falling and even irregular motions!

 

Throughout the project, pupils showed great teamwork, problem-solving and perseverance—testing, improving and refining their ideas just like real engineers. 

 

We are so proud of their hard work and the imaginative designs they brought to life. Well done, KS2!
