Ellesmere Town Council Launches Crowdfunding Campaign to
Build Exciting New Pump Track.
Ellesmere Town Council is thrilled to announce the launch of a crowdfunding campaign aimed at building a pump track in the town, at Berwyn View. This innovative project, designed to provide a safe and fun environment for riders of all ages and skill levels, will promote active lifestyles, enhance community engagement, and support local youth.
The pump track will feature a series of rollers, berms, and jumps, allowing cyclists, skateboarders, and scooter riders to build skills and have fun in a controlled setting. With the growing popularity of cycling and action sports, this facility will not only serve as a recreational hub but also host local events and competitions, fostering a sense of community and sportsmanship.
"We believe that a pump track will greatly benefit our community by providing a place for kids and adults to enjoy outdoor activities, connect with one another, and stay active," said Paul Goulbourne, Chair of the “Land at Berwyn View working group”. This is an exciting opportunity for us all to come together and invest in our community's future."
Mayor Graham Hutchinson added, "Our youngsters here in Ellesmere have long expressed their desire for just such an amenity and I know that our residents will support the project wholeheartedly so that it will be in operation by Summer this year."
The crowdfunding campaign aims to raise £71,000 to cover the costs of construction, maintenance, and safety features. Supporters can contribute through the “Crowdfund Shropshire, Spacehive” website.
Community members are encouraged to spread the word, share the campaign on social media, and participate in upcoming fundraising events to help bring this project to life. The campaign will run from 17th February to 31st March and every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
Join us in creating a vibrant space for our community to thrive! For more information about the pump track project and how to donate, either use the QR Code below or visit www.spacehive.com/berwyn-view-pump-track-project.

Accessing the service may mean that can help children feel better and back to school as quickly as possible, as well as supporting parents/carers to also get better if they are unwell with one of the conditions covered under the service.
There is no need to make an appointment; parents or carers can pop into their local Boots pharmacy with their child and ask for help under the service.
Support for the following conditions can be accessed under the service, free of charge (unless NHS prescription charges apply):
