Spanish- Designing a numbers board game

In Geography this week, we have been exploring famous landmarks around Europe.

Reading for pleasure outside in the willow dome. In Ash class, we have enjoying making the most of the beautiful sunshine. We took our reading for pleasure session outside and the children had a wonderful time sharing stories together and delving into a good book!

In RE this week we have been looking at the book of Luke, chapter 6 verse 37-38. In particular about forgiveness;
“Forgive others, and you will be forgiven”

We had a class discussion about what forgiveness is and then went on a reflection walk to think about times we have forgiven and been forgiven.

Finding mini beasts in their habitats.

We had lots of fun den building down at forest school this week.

We have had a great time learning new skills and games with cricket coach, Lara.

In history this week, we have been ordering the life events of Florence Nightingale in a timeline.

This afternoon, we have been looking at globes and using atlases to find countries in Europe.

We all had lots of fun trying out the Pro strike football today to see how fast we could kick the football in the back of the net. Great effort from everyone!

Our science topic this term is living things and habits so we decided to go on a hunt for micro-habitats down at forest school.  We found lots of mini beasts in their homes.

We have been looking at the characteristics of living things and sorting different objects in to groups to decide if they are alive, once alive or never alive.
