Welcome to Cockshutt C of E Primary School & Nursery a school in North Shropshire. We are a small rural school that offers education for all children between the age of 2 up until the age of 11. Our vision is to ‘Inspire, Nurture, Succeed’, pupils, staff and our community work alongside each other to life out this vision. We work with a strong sense of community with the children at the heart of everything we do. We are a caring and compassionate school where everyone supports each other. We are a fully inclusive community where we believe all children have the right to achieve their potential.

As a Church of England Primary School we have strong links with our local church and the Diocese of Lichfield.  We work closely with Rev Gareth Ingham to develop our Christian distinctiveness and embed our school values of friendship, compassion, respect, perseverance courage and forgiveness.

We are part of Mere’s Edge Federation, where we share a strong partnership with our federated school. This allows pupils and staff to collaborate and provides exciting opportunities to work with others.
