World Oceans Day

On World Ocean Day we dialled in to a live talk from The Manta Trust. We learnt a lot about different species of rays. We loved being involved in identifying the manta rays from their markings. It was so interesting to link this with our current English book of ‘Coral Reefs’ and ‘The Deep Blue’. Since then we have written some persuasive campaigns to inform people about saving our oceans and corals.

Virgin Money - £5 challenge

We have had the fantastic Natasha from Virgin come to our school to inspire us to be entrepreneurs. The children are thinking about ways to turn £5 into a profit. You will have to wait until sports day to see what great ideas the children have!
