Dear Parents and Carers,

I am writing to inform you that following the half term holiday, our school catering service will be provided by Aramark.

We would like to reassure families that meals will continue to be freshly prepared and cooked on site by our catering team. The change relates to the catering provider only, and we are looking forward to working with Aramark to continue offering a range of nutritious and enjoyable meal options for our pupils.

Attached to this email you will find:

• Information from Aramark introducing their service.
• The three-week menu cycle that will be available after half term.

We encourage you to review the information and menus with your child so they can see the variety of meals on offer.

In addition, an allergy information form will be sent separately shortly. It is important that this is completed and returned promptly to ensure Aramark has the most up-to-date information regarding any dietary requirements or allergies.

When we start back on Wednesday 2 September 26 - it will be Week 2 Menu.

In Cockshutt C of E Primary School  we are proud to be a small school  with our own kitchen and our brilliant staff prepare wonderful meals. Mrs Margaret Oxley is our cook in charge. Click on the menu below to see what is available. We also serve our partner school - Criftins.  Our meals are enjoyed by over 100 children every day across our federation and pupil voice is used termly to aid the planning of our menus. 

Children can bring their own packed lunch but please pack a healthy lunch for your child, we are a healthy school and all children are required to have a well balanced meal every day.

Additional money is available from central government for every child whose parent is receiving eligible benefits. It is therefore important to sign up for free school meals/pupil premium as this involves more than a free school lunch and your child's school will receive extra funding to ensure your child gets support.

School meals for children in KS2 are £2.60 per child.  All children in KS1 will qualify for a free school meal.
