A huge well done to our Year 5 and 6 pupils who successfully completed their Bikeability training this week. They demonstrated excellent listening skills, determination and responsibility while learning essential cycling and road safety skills.
Throughout the training, pupils developed their confidence on their bikes and learned how to ride safely and responsibly in different road situations. We were incredibly proud of the mature attitude and resilience they showed throughout the course.
Thank you to the Bikeability instructors for delivering such valuable training, and to parents for ensuring children came prepared each day.
Well done, Year 5 and 6! We hope you continue to use your new skills to stay safe and enjoy cycling.
Ash Class enjoyed an informative and engaging fire safety workshop this week. The children learned about the important role of firefighters, how to stay safe in the event of a fire, and what they should do if they ever hear a smoke alarm.
The workshop gave pupils the opportunity to ask questions, explore fire safety equipment, and develop their understanding of how to keep themselves and others safe. We were impressed by their enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and excellent listening throughout the session.
A big thank you to everyone involved in delivering such a valuable learning experience for our children!
After all of the hard work the PTA did in the summer term when creating our wonderful pond area, it was time to get stuck in and explore the wildlife we had attracted! We enjoyed a fabulous session of pond dipping and found water beetles, pond skaters, water snails and water louse! It was so much fun and extremely relaxing due to being such a zen area! The addition of the pond has really made a wonderful new element to our outdoor learning experiences.
Our Year 2 and 3 children have been busy developing their design and technology skills by constructing the chassis, wheels and axles for their moving vehicles. They worked carefully to measure, assemble and test their designs, showing great perseverance and teamwork throughout the process.
The children are now ready for the exciting next stage, where they will design and build their final vehicle. We can't wait to see their creative ideas come to life and watch their finished vehicles in action!
Well done, Year 2 and 3, for your fantastic effort and problem-solving skills.
