  Our KS1 children have been busy learning through creative outdoor play, and it’s been lovely to see their imaginations come to life! From building, exploring, and role‑playing to problem‑solving and teamwork, the children are learning every step of the way – all while having fun in the fresh air.

  

• Cycling Club

  The children have been having a fantastic time at our Cycling and Scooter Club! From big smiles to confident riding, it’s wonderful to see them enjoying being active, learning new skills, and supporting one another.

  They’ve been practising balance, steering, and safe riding – all while laughing, chatting, and having lots of fun with friends. 
  It’s great to watch their confidence grow each week!

  

• Village litter pick

  Today, Ash class marked Earth Day by taking part in litter-picking around the village. This year's theme is "Our power, Our planet" 

  Working together, the children showed enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment to caring for the planet. Their efforts not only contributed to a cleaner Cockshutt but also highlighted the importance of small, collective actions in protecting our planet.

  Well done Ash class for demonstrating such positive values and for playing your part in creating a more sustainable future ♻️🌎
