Thank you to the PTA for organising our sponsored walk today. The sun was shining, the music was playing and everyone had a great time collecting bands for each lap. The sponsor money will be spent on some much needed phonics books.
Well done to Oak class for organising a Macmillan Coffee Morning and raising £102 for the charity.
The children really demonstrated our value of respect this week when they went to the memorial to lay a poppy wreath and have a two minute silence.
The children really embraced our ‘Break the Rules day’ we had coloured hair, tattoos, pyjamas, makeup and crazy hairstyles. It was a lot of fun and we raised an amazing £166 for Children in Need.
Oak class had the brilliant experience today. They were part of an online workshop led by the well known author, Jacqueline Wilson.
It is always amazing when the children are involved in community events. Some children from Oak class contributed towards the stunning poppy waterfall created by members of the community. They were even part of an interview with Shropshire radio, very exciting.
I am pleased to share that we have received a certificate for completing the NSPCC Speak out Stay safe with all of the children.
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding an Open Morning on the 21st November. This is a great opportunity to come an see the school in action.
