  Today the children in Chestnut class had a visit from the school nurse. Jill came to teach us how to be healthy heroes! We learnt about sleep, hand washing, healthy eating, exercise and being kind to others and ourselves!

  New Playground Markings = Endless Imagination!

   

  Our exciting new playground markings have already become a huge hit with the children! 

   

  It has been wonderful to watch them explore the different designs, work together, and use their creativity to invent their own games and challenges. From imaginative adventures to friendly competitions, the playground has been buzzing with energy, laughter, and teamwork. 

   

  These markings are providing fantastic opportunities for active play, problem-solving, and social interaction, helping children learn and have fun at the same time.

  We can't wait to see what games they come up with next! 

   

   

  

• Year 6 United for Endangered Animals!

  Year 6 United for Endangered Animals!

   

  Our Year 6 pupils had an incredible opportunity to take part in a collaborative United Nations event alongside other schools from across the Trust. The day focused on raising awareness of endangered animals and exploring how we can all play a part in protecting our planet's most vulnerable species.

   

  Working together with pupils from different schools, the children researched, discussed, and developed ideas for conservation projects, demonstrating fantastic teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

   

  We were especially honoured to have the day led by the Regional Director for the United Nations in the UK, who inspired our pupils to think globally, act responsibly, and recognise the power they have to make a positive difference in the world.

   

   

  

• What a fantastic day!

  A huge well done to all of our children for taking part in today’s Sports Day. We were incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, determination, teamwork and sportsmanship shown by everyone throughout the event. It was wonderful to see so many families cheering from the sidelines and supporting our children.

   

  The celebrations continued with the PTA Summer BBQ, which was a great success! Thank you to everyone who came along, helped out, donated, cooked, served, and supported the event. It was lovely to see our school community come together and enjoy a fantastic afternoon of food, fun and friendship.

   

  A special thank you to our staff, volunteers and PTA members whose hard work made both events possible.

   

   

  

• Robinwood Residential Adventure!

  What an incredible three days our children have had at Robin Wood! From the moment they arrived, they embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, determination, and a fantastic attitude.

   

  Over the course of the residential, pupils took part in a wide range of exciting activities including climbing, zip line, escape rooms, high ropes, raft building, and canoeing, to name just a few. They pushed themselves out of their comfort zones, developed new skills, worked brilliantly as teams, and showed great resilience throughout.

   

  We are extremely proud of all the children for their excellent participation, outstanding behaviour, and willingness to give everything a go. They represented the school wonderfully and were a credit to themselves, their families, and our school community.

   

  A huge thank you to the Robin Wood staff for providing such a memorable experience and to the staff who accompanied the trip. We are sure the children will cherish the memories and friendships made for years to come!
