The children came to school in some wonderful costumes to celebrate World Book Day. Throughout the day they have celebrated their love of books with lots of fun activities such as the Masked Reader and enjoyed being creative designing their own book covers.
The children in Ash class took in a fire safety workshop to learn all about how to keep safe. They all participated with maturity and curiosity.
This half term, the children in Oak class are learning to play the trombone. What a fantastic opportunity.
The children had a very exciting visit from the New Saints Football club today. They talked to the children about the club and gave them all a special ticket to allow admission for four people to a game.
The children in Chestnut class celebrated pancake day by designing their own fillings and then enjoying some delicious pancakes. There were some very sticky fingers.
Oak class have been celebrating National Number Day by applying their maths skills in different contexts. They applied their measuring and reading scales skills by making cookies.
Our D&T sewing unit has inspired one member of Ash class to make her own bag during indoor break time. She was very proud of the end result.
The children in reception and KS1 had a great time learning to ride balance bikes this week. They played lots of games to help develop their skills.
