Oak Class 2024/2025

Welcome to Oak Class!

Oak Class is a vibrant and engaging learning environment for Year 5 and 6 pupils. We are a class of curious, motivated learners who embrace challenges and strive for excellence in all we do. Our class is taught by Mrs. Cheesman (Tuesday–Friday) and Mrs. Baker (Monday), with support from our dedicated teaching assistant, Mrs. Twigg.

Key Information

• PE Days: Monday and Friday
  Pupils should wear their PE kit to school on these days, which includes black trainers, a school PE top, and a school jumper.

• Forest School: Spring 1 – Thursday afternoons
  A selected group of Year 5 and 6 pupils will take part in Forest School this half-term. On these days, please wear appropriate Forest School clothing and bring any necessary kit.

Homework

• Set: Every Wednesday
• Due: The following Wednesday
• Reading: Pupils are expected to read daily for as long as possible and record their reading in their home reading record.
