Spring 2026
We have been brushing our teeth daily using the brilliant brushers tooth cleaning scheme. Recently we also borrowed a rather large dragon puppet and we brushed his teeth too!
World book day celebrations! We dressed up in our cosy pyjamas and read lots of lots of wonderful stories. We even had some small world toys and role play costumes to help us act out parts of the stories through our play.
Little Chestnut class explored the festival of Chinese new year. This year was the year of the horse. The children learnt the story, explored noodles in sensory play and also made some beautiful lanterns.
Little Chestnut have been working with some of their reception friends to have a go at gymnastics. We have explored making our bodies into shapes, such as stars, pencils and squats and then we put these into practice onto the apparatus. It was so much fun exploring all of the climbing and bouncing equipment!
